NEW MN MUSIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame has announced its six new inductees.  They are Crow, a hard rock band from Minneapolis who began performing in 1967.  Pamela McNeil who is a producer, singer and composer from Minneapolis who spent time as a frontwoman for the Fabulous Armadillos.  Johnny Mons, long-time band leader and bass player and also helped to organize Winstock and coordinate the State Fair.  Fritz Otto Reuter (ROOTER) emigrated from Germany and settled in  New Ulm in the late 19th Century and was professor of music at Martin Luther College.  Brian Wicklund is an award-winning fiddle and mandolin player and this year’s polka and concertina-focused inductee – Dan Witucki who has performed for years and has a residency at Disney World in Florida and has also performed at Bavarian Blast.  He will return this year.  The inductees will go into the hall of fame during its 33rd annual Induction Ceremony Friday, April 19 at the New Ulm Conference Center.
