NEW RICHLAND MAN DIES IN GRAIN BIN ACCIDENT

A rural New Richland man has died in a grain bin accident.  The Waseca County Sheriff’s Office says they received a 911 call just before 11:30 Monday morning from a woman who said she couldn’t contact her husband who was inside a grain bin.  The victim was identified as 75-year-old Michael Supalla who was pronounced dead at the scene.  No other details have been released.  The Waseca County Sheriff’s Office, New Richland police, fire and rescue, Waseca Fire and rescue, Ellendale Fire and rescue and North Memorial ambulance personnel all responded to the scene.
