NEW ULM MEDICAL CENTER AMONG TOP 20 CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITALS IN THE NATION

Allina Health New Ulm Medical Center was recently named one of the top twenty critical access hospitals for overall performance in the country.  President of NUMC Toby Freier says the recognition means the community can count of them to deliver the services they need now and into the future.  The top twenty CAHs have achieved success in overall performance based on a rating from eight categories of strength – inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge and finance.  Allina Health spans over 90 clinics, 12 hospital campuses, 13 retail pharmacies and specialty care centers, specialty  medical services, home care and emergency medical transportation services.
