NEW ULM REC CENTER COULD HAVE NEW NAME

The New Ulm Recreation Center could be getting a new name.  The Park and Rec Commission and the New Ulm City Council approved a professional services contract last year to secure naming rights for facilities operated by the park and rec department.  Here is Park and Rec Director Joey Schugel…

Schugel says an official name for the Rec Center still needs to be worked out although SouthPoint would have its name added to all exterior and interior signs.  The Park and Rec commission was presented with a 15-year naming rights agreement with SouthPoint.
