NICOLLET COUNTY APPOINTS SHERIFF

The Nicollet County Board of Commissioners appointed a new sheriff to take over for the retiring Dave Lange.  The board appointed Chief Deputy Aaron Peterson, who has been with the sheriff’s department since 2004.  Peterson will assume the role New Year’s Eve.  Lange was elected to a sixth term as sheriff in 2022.  The next election for sheriff will be in November.
