No Injuries in New Ulm Apartment Boiler Explosion

The New Ulm Fire Department was called to a reported explosion Tuesday morning at the New Ulm Apartments at 320 19th North.

The fire department says that all occupants had safely evacuated the building which was filled with steam.

The explosion was due to an over-pressurized boiler located on the first floor.

The boiler room and first and second floor hallways were damaged.

Officials say smoke alarms were working and officials say there were no injuries
