NO ONE HURT IN LINDERHOF APARTMENT FIRE
The New Ulm Fire department was called to the Linderhof Apartments at 1106 16th North Monday night at 11:40 pm on the report of an appliance fire. Crews arrived and found there was smoke on the second floor of the north building with fire in the laundry room extending from the laundry room to the attic. All residents were safely evacuated and there were no injuries. Chief Paul Macho says there was moderate damage to the second-floor laundry room and attic. Crews were on the scene for about 2 ½ hours. Displaced residents are being assisted by the Red Cross, Brown County Emergency Management and Heartland bus. A cause is under investigation.
