No Travel Advisories Lifted in South Central and Southwestern MN
MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has lifted the no travel advisory from state highways and Interstate 90 in South Central Minnesota. The no travel advisory has also been lifted for Southwestern Minnesota.
Area highways were under a no travel advisory due to blowing snow and low visibility.
Officials say motorists should use extreme caution when traveling as many roads remain snow covered and visibility reduced, particularly in open areas without windbreaks.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed and drive according to conditions.
