NUFD EXTINGUISHES GRASS FIRE NEAR CEMETERY
The New Ulm Fire Department was called to a grass fire near the New Ulm City Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 12:24 pm. Chief Paul Macho says the fire burned about five acres of grass and started while ground was being thawed for a burial. No one was hurt nor were any buildings or gravestones damaged. Firefighters were on the scene for about 90 minutes.
