NUMC PRESIDENT TAKES NEW ROLE AT ALLINA

New Ulm Medical Center President Toby Freier is taking on a new role of Vice President of Strategic Market Development and Outreach at Allina Health.  A statement from Allina says that under Freier’s leadership, the New Ulm Medical Center has been a model of success for patients, physicians and employees.  He became president of the New Ulm Medical Center in 2011 after serving five years as assistant administrator.  New Ulm Medical Center is one of the top twenty critical access hospitals for overall performance in the country.  President of Owatonna Hospital and Faribault Medical Center Whitney Johnson will expand her role to become president of New Ulm Medical Center.  These transitions will be effective July 1.
