Officer Involved Shooting Reported Monday Morning

Authorities in Polk County are reporting an officer involved shooting Monday morning.

According to Sheriff James Tadman, a vehicle pursuit began just after 10am. The shooting occurred on County Road 9 west of the intersection of 360th Avenue Southwest. The sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the pursuit was transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with a non-life-threatening injury.

The Minnesota BCA is investigating. The road is closed until the BCA has completed their scene investigation.
