OKC wins NBA Title

(Oklahoma City, OK/Minnesota News Network) — The Oklahoma City Thunder are N-B-A champions after defeating the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in Game Seven of the N-B-A Finals in Oklahoma City last night. League M-V-P and Finals M-V-P Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with a game-high 29 points and 12 assists. Minneapolis native Chet Holmgren came up big on both ends of the floor with 18 points and five blocks to help the franchise to the trophy. Bennedict Mathurin came off the bench to lead Indiana with 24 points in the losing effort. Indiana star guard Tyrese Haliburton suffered a serious lower leg injury in the first quarter and did not return. The Pacers still have never won an N-B-A championship.
