OLIVIA POLICE INVESTIGATE METH BAGGIE FOUND AT CASEY’S

A Willmar woman is in the Renville County jail suspected of second degree possession of a controlled substance.  Olivia police was called to the Casey’s General Store at 8:12 Wednesday morning after staff reported finding a baggie of a suspected controlled substance on the floor.  Law enforcement was handed the baggie containing a crystalline substance which field tested for methamphetamine with an approximate weight of 25.85 grams.  Authorities reviewed surveillance video and saw the customer unknowingly drop the baggie.  She was identified as a 59-year-old Willmar woman whose name hasn’t been released.  She was arrested by the Willmar Police Department in Willmar a few hours later.  She was taken to the Renville County Jail where she is being held on the possession charge.
