One Dead In Monday Evening Crash Involving A Semi

A Saint Francis woman was killed in a crash involving a semi on Monday evening in Otter Tail County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 32 year old woman was westbound I-94 when the 2016 Buick Enclave she was driving collided with a 2022 International Semi near milepost 56 in Buse Township. According to the State Patrol Report, “a vehicle fled officers from a traffic stop. During the pursuit, the vehicle rear-ended a semi. The driver of the fleeing vehicle died as a result of the crash”. 

The driver of the semi, Yasin H. Ali, (26) of Saint Cloud suffered no apparent injury. 

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash reported just before 8pm. 

The Clay County Sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.
