ONE HURT IN BLUE EARTH COUNTY CRASH

The state patrol was called to a collision between a Ford Edge and a Dodge Charger at westbound Highway 60 and Highway 169 shortly before midnight Thursday night.  Authorities say the Dodge was driven by 19-year-old Kyle Helget of New Ulm.  He wasn’t hurt.  The driver of the Ford 65-year-old July Johnston of Alamogordo, New Mexico was taken to Mayo Clinic in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Mankato police, South Bend Fire and Mayo Clinic Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
