One Injured in McLeod County Crash

One driver was injured in a two-vehicle crash in McLeod County Monday afternoon north of Lester Prairie.

The State Patrol says 43-year-old Phathoumma Thammavongsa of Lester Prairie was taken to Glencoe ER for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says she was driving an SUV northbound on County Road 9.

A pickup, driven by 55-year-old Cary Thaemert of Mayer, was traveling southbound on County Road 9 and turning east on Highway 7 when the crash happened. Thaemert was not injured.

The crash happened shortly before 3:30pm.
