One Injured in Renville County Crash

A driver was injured when the State Patrol says he crashed his SUV into the back of a parked semi tractor in Renville County Friday evening in Buffalo Lake.

Fifty-three-year-old Paul Sauter was taken to Glencoe Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Sauter was traveling westbound on Highway 212 when he crashed into the rear of the semi tractor near 2nd Street just before 6:30pm.

The semi driver, 58-year-old John Chase of Bird Island, was not injured.
