One injured in Thursday night crash!

One person was seriously injured in a two vehicle collision Thursday evening, June 19th,  just after 11pm, on Pennington County Road 27 near 125th Street Southeast in Hickory Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a 2022 Freightliner, driven by Wesley Winkelman,, 68, of Oak Grove, MN, and a 2012 Buick LaCrosse, driven by Lily Anne Graves, 22, of Red Lake collided.  According to the State Patrol report, Winkelman was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. Graves, was not wearing a seat belt, and sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital. Alcohol was not involved.

Oklee EMS and Fire, Goodridge First Responders, Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Pennington County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the incident.
