One Injured in Wright Co Crash

One driver was injured in a rear-end crash that involved three vehicles in Wright County Thursday afternoon east of Montrose.

The State Patrol says 47-year-old Sara Nelson of Cokato was taken to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Nelson’s SUV and a pickup were stopped at the intersection of Highways 25 and 12 when a pickup rear-ended Nelson’s SUV, which in turn crashed into the pickup that was stopped.

The other drivers were not injured.

The crash happened just after 4pm.
