Open House for New New Ulm Armory
The Minnesota National Guard is hosting a grand opening and tour of the new New Ulm Armory this morning (Monday).
Officials say it’s so the public can see the new facility and learn about the increased capabilities it will provide the First Battalion of the 125th Field Artillery Regiment and the community.
Construction of the facility at 2100 Palmer Avenue began in April 2024.
The open house and tour will start at 10 this morning.
The battalion, who has subordinate units in Anoka, Fairmont, Jackson, Luverne, St. James, and St. Peter provides field artillery fire support for the First Bregade Combat Team of the 34th Infantry Division “RedBulls.”
