Oregon Big Win Over Minnesota

Golden Gopher football lost to Oregon last night, 42-13. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was 27-for-30, setting an Oregon school record with a 90-percent completion percentage. Minnesota managed just 200 yards of total offense while Oregon rolled up 510 yards. The Gophers lone touchdown came in the third quarter on a ten-yard touchdown pass from Drake Lindsey to Javon Tracy. That pulled Minnesota within 28-13 midway through the third quarter, but Oregon responded with a touchdown drive of its own and the Gophers never threatened after that. Gopher coach PJ Fleck says Oregon capitalized on every opening the Gophers gave them.

Minnesota falls to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in the conference. Two games remain in the regular season — at Northwestern next Saturday, and home against Wisconsin on Saturday the 29th.
