Pacers Defeat Wolves

The Indiana Pacers are on a five-game winning streak following a 119-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis last night. The Pacers never trailed in the victory, and they were up by as many as 22 points in the second half. This is Indiana’s second victory over Minnesota in the past week. Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana with 24 points, while Obi Toppin finished with 20 off the bench. Indiana is now 42-29 and in control of the four-seed in the Eastern Conference. Minnesota center Naz Reid had 20 points off the bench in the losing effort. Wolves star player Anthony Edwards scored just 17 points and was 1-for-11 from three-point range. Wolves Head Coach Chris Finch says they were not very good on offense.

The 41-32 Wolves have dropped three of four and have dipped to eighth in the N-B-A Western Conference playoff picture. Minnesota is next in action on Friday with a home game against the Phoenix Suns.
