Packers extend their coach

(Green Bay, WI/Minnesota News Network\) — The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract extension with head coach Matt LaFleur. The N-F-L Network reports the deal comes with one year remaining on LaFleur’s current contract. Both sides have reportedly discussed a new contract following the end of the Packers’ season. LaFleur is coming off a 9-7-and-1 season that ended with a playoff loss to the Chicago Bears. The 46-year-old has a 76-40-and-1 record over seven seasons with the Packers.
