Paynesville Man Injured in Farm Accident

A Paynesville man was injured Sunday in a farm accident.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says at about 6pm, a caller reported that 30-year-old Jarrod Quade had been run over by a tractor at a location just northwest of Paynesville.

Quade was airlifted to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say Quade was showing a neighbor how to start the tractor and was standing in front of the back right tire. When the tractor started, it was still in gear and advanced forward, pulling Quade to the ground and going over him.
