Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle in Hutchinson

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Hutchinson Tuesday night.

The State Patrol says the 16-year-old from Biscay was taken to Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. His name was not released.

The Patrol says a car was traveling southbound on Main Street (Hwy 15) when it made contact with the pedestrian at 5th Avenue SW just after 9:30pm.

The driver and passenger in the car, 25-year-old Caitlin Rath and 23-year-old Chandler Darnell both of Hutchinson, were not injured.
