PEDESTRIAN KILLED IN GREEN ISLE

A pedestrian was killed trying to cross Highway 5 in Green Isle Wednesday morning.  The state patrol was called at 7:20 to Highway 5 and Highway 25.  A Peterbilt Straight Truck driven by 35-year-old Blaine Feil of Gaylord was turning onto Highway 5 and struck 73-year-old Mary Ann Ott of Green Isle.  She died at the scene.  Feil wasn’t hurt.  The Green Isle Fire Department and Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
