Peggy was born January 12, 1932, in St. Thomas, North Dakota to Marte and Albert Pariseau the fifth of five children. Peggy attended school in St. Thomas skipping the second grade and graduating at the age of seventeen. She attended Moorhead State Teachers College obtaining a two-year teaching certificate completing her student teaching in Park Rapids, MN. Moving to Benson, MN she became a third-grade elementary teacher. Peggy loved to dance and met Ron Jossart at a local area dance venue. They fell in love and were married on November 21, 1953. Being a married woman, she was no longer allowed to teach school in Benson and was hired by the nearby Kerkhoven School District. In 1957 they had their first son, Robert and resided in Benson with Ron working in the men’s clothing store. In 1960 they had the opportunity to purchase Olin’s Men’s Store in Wheaton. They took that opportunity and the family moved to Wheaton where they raised their family with Steven, Mark, and Gregg joining them.

Peg cherished her many years in Wheaton residing in the family home for fifty-seven years, raising the four boys, and supporting Ron in Ron’s Clothing and Bon Jos. She served the community through her participation in the hospital auxiliary, women’s club, Wheaton Country Club auxiliary, and cub scout den mother. She was a woman of strong faith as a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and participated in the Ruth circle. She was particularly proud of having been part of the same bridge club for almost 60 years. She had many wonderful friendships and was always thankful for the wonderful life she and the family enjoyed in Wheaton.

She is survived by sons: Robert (Jenny) Jossart of Wayzata, MN, Steven (Stephanie) Jossart of Battle Lake, MN, Mark (Tammy) Jossart of Maple Grove, MN, and Gregg (Theresa) Jossart of Navato, California; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
