POLICE INVESTIGATING AFTER WOMAN FAILS TO CHECK IN AT DETOX

New Ulm Police were called to the Brown County Evaluation detox unit Wednesday evening for a welfare check.  Police say a 31-year-old St. Paul woman who is reportedly addicted to opioids was taken to detox but did not check in.  She was not located and police continue to search for her.  She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, plaid and pink-fleeced jacket and white pants.  Police are continuing to investigate.
