Police Pursuit in Otter Tail County Leads To Fatality

A pursuit from law enforcement on Monday night has led to a fatality in Otter Tail County. A Buick Enclave driven by 32-year-old Jessica Sarah Vaux of St. Francis fled from officers during a traffic stop. During the pursuit, Vaux rear-ended a semi driven by 26-year-old Yasin Ali of St. Cloud, and died as a result of the crash. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Road conditions were wet and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor. Assisting the State Patrol were Fergus Falls Police, and Otter Tail, Grant and Clay County Sheriff’s Offices.
