Portion of County Board Meeting Closed For Consideration of Allegations or Charges Against An Individual

The Pennington County Board meets in regular session Tuesday in Thief River Falls.

On the agenda, DOC District Supervisor Janelle Cheney is scheduled to present the 2025 Budget and Comprehensive Plan. Items are also expected from Human Services Director Julie Sjostrand, County Engineer Mike Flaagan, and Sheriff Seth Vettleson, as well as the County Auditor-Treasurer, County Coordinator, and County Attorney.

A portion of the session will be closed to the public pursuant to Minnesota Statue “for consideration of allegations or charges against an individual subject to the Board’s authority”.

Also on the agenda, Recognition of Citizens, a time where individuals may address the Board about items not on the regular agenda.

The regular meeting gets under way Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Justice Center Board Room in downtown Thief River Falls.
