PROTESTERS GATHER OUTSIDE FINSTAD’S ROCHESTER OFFICE

Protesters gathered outside First-District Congressman Brad Finstad’s office in Rochester Wednesday afternoon wanting answers as to why he voted ‘yes’ on President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill Act.”  Several community leaders including union representatives, state politicians and opposition candidates were present at the rally.  The bill passed largely along a party line.  Finstad was not at his office while the protests were going on.  Protesters were also outside Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach’s office in Moorhead.  The protesters in both locations want face-to-face meetings with Finstad and Fischbach.  Both say the bill is meant to try to combat “waste, fraud and abuse” in the system.
