Red River Reaching Minor Flood Stage

Law Enforcement is advising people to be careful around water with recent rain activity. 

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents that the Red River is forecasted to crest over minor flood stages during this week. Authorities say accesses, and the lower trails along the river may be impacted by flood water. 

Sheriff’s officials say the river is usually closed from access while it is above minor flood stages.
