Busy day on Saturday, here are the results:

Boy’s Basketball:

New Ulm picks up a road win over Tri City United 97 to 51 and St Mary’s was a 70 to 60 winner over GFW.

Girl’s Basketball:

New Ulm defeat Tri City United 76 to 61, Goodhue edges St Peter 67 to 65, St James was an 81 to 45 winner over Blue Earth and Nicolet defeats GHECML/Truman 54 to 44.

Section Team Wrestling:

2A-LCWM is the section champion with a 40 to 25 win over WEM/JWP.

3A-Jackson County Central defeats Fulda/Murray County Central 51 to 19 to advance to the State Tournament.

2AA-Watertown/Mayer is the section champ with a 39 to 27 win over Scott West.

3AA-Marshall defeats New Ulm 33 to 20 to advance to the State Team Tournament next week.

Boy’s Hockey:

New Ulm picks up a 3 to 1 win over SW Christian and Waseca defeats Marshall 5 to 2.

College Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus wins the MIAC title with a 66 to 62 win over St John’s and Mn-Morris was an 86 to 85 winner over Martin Luther.

College Women’s Basketball:

Gustavus was a 73 to 62 winner over St Benedict and Mn-Morris was a 69 to 60 winner over Martin Luther.

College Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus plays to a 3 to 3 tie with St Scholastica and wins the shootout.

College Women’s Hockey:

Gustavus completes the series sweep over St Scholastica with a 3 to 1 win.
