Luverne defeats Fairmont 59 to 42, Springfield picks up a 75 to 61 win over Windom, Mayer Lutheran was an 84 to 78 winner over Lester Prairie, LCWM edges Sibley East 75 to 71, RTR was a 76 to 47 winner over Red Rock Central, Nicollet gets a league win over Loyola 85 to 78 and BOLD defeats ACGC 85 to 71. Games that were postponed-Madelia at St James, Cleveland at Sleepy Eye, Cedar Mountain at GHECML/Truman and MVL at St Clair.

Girl’s Basketball:

New Ulm picks up a Big South win over Redwood Valley 78 to 54, Fairmont was a 66 to 41 winner over Luverne and SW Christian defeats St Peter 59 to 55. Windom was a 92 to 62 winner over Springfield.

Postponed games-St James at Jackson County Central, Cathedral at Madelia, LCWM at Belle Plaine and St Clair at Wat/Ely/Mor.

Section 3A Boy’s Hockey:

Redwood Valley moves to the Quarterfinals with an 8 to 2 win over Windom and Fairmont eliminates Worthington 4 to 3.
