Ricky Lee Crouse

Ricky Crouse, age 61 of Chokio, Minnesota, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at his home in Chokio, MN.

Visitation for Ricky Crouse will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, Minnesota, with a time of sharing beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Ricky Lee Crouse, son of Daniel and Nellie (Huddleston) Crouse, was born on July 4, 1962, in Tennessee. Ricky began his schooling in Michigan, and later the family moved to Little Falls, Minnesota, where he attended high school and played football. Ricky later went on to get his GED. Ricky moved to St. Cloud to attend tech school, and there he met Wanda Schreifels. The couple met in September and were married on January 2, 1985. Ricky was baptized in December of 2010 in the Lutheran faith. Ricky and Wanda celebrated a second wedding on January 2, 2011. He worked with his dad and his brothers for many years doing construction for Crouse & Sons Siding, until his retirement.

Ricky always enjoyed fishing of all kinds and went salmon fishing with his dad in Michigan. He was a big Detroit Lions football fan and would watch all season long. Ricky also enjoyed relaxing at home and spending time with Wanda.

Ricky is survived by his wife: Wanda Crouse; his children: Jeremy Crouse, Matthew (Katrina) Crouse, Adam Justin, Crystal (Brandon) Zacharias, Sarah Justin, and Ashley Justin; his brothers: Kevin Wagner, and Billy Crouse; his sister: Christy Crouse; and his grandchild: Logan Crouse and another on the way.

Ricky is preceded in death by his children: Daniel Crouse, and Janette Crouse. His parents; and his brother: Danny Crouse.
