Ronald L. Fulton

Ronald L. “Ron” Fulton of Roseau passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 70, just one month shy of his 71st birthday.

Born on March 26, 1954, in Thief River Falls, MN, to Floyd and Bonita Belle Jeanette (Lull) Fulton, Ron was raised in Goodridge, MN, and graduated from Goodridge High School in 1973. He went on to earn an associate degree in diesel mechanics in 1974 from Area Vocational Technical Institute in Thief River Falls.

On October 10, 1987, Ron married Vicki Lind.

After working for some time in mechanics, Ron co-owned the Amoco gas station in Thief River Falls during the early 1980s. He later worked many years at Marvin Windows in Warroad, MN until his retirement. Ron was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roseau, MN, and Ducks Unlimited.

Ron was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed collecting coins. He loved the time spent having coffee with friends and family.

Ron is survived by his three children: Jesse Fulton, Jennifer (Derrick) Gust, and Jon (Kelsey) Dahlstrom; grandchildren: Emma Gust(Diego Cendejas), Noah Gust, McKayla, Michael, Mattias, Maddox, Daniel, Madison, Benjamin, and Katherine Dahlstrom, Raviyn and Sparrow Fulton; brother, Bobby(Cora) Fulton; nieces and nephews: Sherry and Tod Ovall, Brad and Jesse Scheie, John Scheie and Sarah Mason, and Scott Fulton; great-niece, Mercedes Scheie; great-nephew, Alex Scheie

He was preceded in death by his Parents and his sister, Ellen (Jack) Scheie.

Ron will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 22nd at First Baptist Church in Roseau with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
