Rosemary (Koenig) Sevcik

Rosemary (Koenig) Sevcik at the age of 94 of Lonsdale passed away peacefully at The Villages Of Lonsdale on Monday April 21st, 2025.Rosemary was born at home on May 7th 1930, in New Prague Mn. She attended New Prague schools. Rosemary briefly worked in the banking industry as a teller before marrying the love of her life Richard, which they met at one of the many dances that Richard played at, both had a great love for the polka music. They married on June 21st 1951.

Survived by children Vern Sevcik of Fort Calhoun, NE, Mary (Neil) Jentink of Richfield Mn, Linda (Ron) Toland of Winnebago, Mn, Al (Carleen) Sevcik and Mike (Karen) Sevcik both of Lonsdale, 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and a brother Jerome Koenig of New Prague.

Rosemary loved quilting and making pillowcases for the VA, gardening, and especially her Roses and Red Prince. Rosemary enjoyed talking on the phone but held dear to her heart visits from family and friends.

Preceded in death by husband Richard, children Larry, Jerry, Kathy, daughter in law Joan, and grandchild Heidi Barta.

Visitation will be Thursday April 24th 2025 at White Funeral Home Lonsdale 4:00-8:00pm. Mass of Christian burial Friday April 25th 2025 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church Lonsdale with visitation one hour prior at White Funeral Home.

Luncheon at the Lonsdale American Legion.
