SAND-BOTTOM SWIM POND AT FLANDRAU CLOSED FOR THE SEASON

The swim pond at Flandrau State Park in New Ulm has closed for the rest of the season.  The pond was originally scheduled to be open through August 17 but the DNR says operational needs at the park necessitated the early closure.  The beach house near the pond will remain open for access to the bathrooms and drinking water.  There are a lot of other recreational opportunities at Flandrau.  You can find out more at mndnr.gov/flandrau.
