Tomahawk finals-Cathedral defeats Cedar Mountain 71 to 60, GFW defeats Sleepy Eye 80 to 71, St Marys was a 66 to 51 winner over Lester Prairie and Wabasso defeats BLHS 93 to 47. Non league finals-Springfield defeats Loyola 89 to 59, MVL was a 67 to 27 winner over Martin County West, Sibley East defeats Tri City United 70 to 56, Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton defeats Lesueur/Henderson 92 to 55, Waseca was a 70 to 50 winner over St Clair, Madelia defeats ACGC 71 to 57 and Paynesville was a 67 to 56 winner over Redwood Valley. Red Rock finals-Westbrook/Walnut Grove defeats Red Rock Central 70 to 47 and RTR defeats Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 72 to 38.
Girl’s Basketball:
St Peter defeats Faribault 72 to 64, Marshall a big win over Jordan 76 to 34 , Fairmont picks up a conference win over St James 61 to 42. Tomahawk finals-Cedar Mountain defeats Cathedral 70 to 37, the game on SAM saw Sleepy Eye defeats GFW 57 to 48, St Mary’s wins big over Lester Prairie 105 to 28, and BLHS defeats Wabasso 74 to 55. MVL picks up an 86 to 51 road win over Loyola, St Clair defeats Waseca 75 to 37 and BOLD picks up a 51 to 42 win over Sauk Centre.
Wrestling:
New Ulm picks up a pair of wins- 46 to 12 over United and 55 to 15 over Fairmont/Martin County West, Adrian Ellsworth wins a pair over Redwood Valley 56 to 17 and 52 to 18 over Red Rock Central, Redwood Valley also defeats Red Rock Central 47 to 27, St James/Madelia defeats Medford 54 to 23 and Springfield 58 to 12, but lose to Lesueur/Henderson 60 to 9.
Boy’s Hockey:
Waseca comes to New Ulm to defeats the Eagles 6 to 4, Minnesota River plays to a 2 all tie with Burnsville and Fairmont defeats Worthington 8 to 1.
Girl’s Hockey:
New Ulm Shuts out South Central 14 to 0, Dodge County was 3 to 1 winner over Minnesota River and Fairmont defeats Worthington 8 to 1.
