Mankato East has a big section win over New Ulm 100 to 45, St James was a 77 to 69 winner over GHECML/Truman, Springfield gets a section win over BOLD 78 to 70, GFW was a 69 to 58 winner over wabasso, St Mary’s wins the cross town match up with Sleepy Eye 70 to 57, Loyola sneaks by Martin County West 76 to 75, Nicollet defeats Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons 79 to 55, Madelia was a big winner over Cleveland 105 to 54 and Hills/Beaver Creek was a 71 to 36 winner over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey.

Girl’s Basketball:

GFW was a 64 to 53 winner over Madelia and USC defeats Loyola 51 to 41.

Boy’s hockey:

Marshall was an 8 to 1 road win over Windom.

Girl’s Hockey:

Minnesota River shuts out Fairmont 2 to 0.

College Men’s Basketball:

Augsburg pulls away from Martin Luther in the second half to pick up an 86 to 70 non conference win.
