Boy’s Basketball:

Redwood Valley’s Lukas Means makes 9 three pointers, scores 30 second half points in leading the Cardinals past New Ulm 89 to 80, St peter defeats Hutchinson 83 to 69, Fairmont was a 74 to 61 winner over Belle Plaine, Central Minnesota Christian defeats Wabasso 79 to 64, Martin County West defeats GFW 69 to 67, Cedar Mountain picks up a 76 to 56 win over Madelia, St Clair picks up a conference win over MVL 74 to 66, Sibley East a non-league win over BLHS 74 to 31, St James was an 82 to 64 winner over St Mary’s and Westbrook/Walnut Grove defeats Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 69 to 50.

Girl’s Basketball:

Regular season finals-New Ulm was an 89 to 47 winner over Hutchinson, Byron defeats St Peter 59 to 40, St Mary’s wins the Tomahawk/Valley Championship 61 to 34. Section 2A finals-GFW eliminates Madelia 61 to 40 and Cleveland defeats Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 58 to 44.Section 3A results; Renville County West was a 68 to 28 winner over Dawson/Boyd,Tracy/Milroy/Balaton eliminates Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda 51 to 42, Yellow Medicine East defeats Wabasso 84 to 47 and Murray County Central was an 80 to 56 winner over Red Rock Central.

Section 3A Boy’s Hockey:

New Ulm scores two goals in the third to defeat Marshall 5 to 3 and will play Mankato West.
