Boy’s Basketball:

St james wins a non conference match up with St Mary’s 90 to 72, Windom was an 83 to 65 winner over Cedar Mountain and Minnewaska Area defeats BOLD 75 to 58.

Section 3A Girl’s Basketball:

Central Minnesota Christian defeats Wabasso 74 to 40, Minneota was a 56 to 45 winner over Canby, MaCCray defeats Yellow Medicine East 82 to 52, Lakeview was a 63 to 48 winner over Dwson/Boyd, Hills/Beaver Creek defeats Tarcy/Milroy/Balatan 75 to 40, Westbrook/Walnut grove was a 52 to 42 winner over RTR, Adrian/Ellsworth eliminates Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda 65 to 58 and Murray County Central defeats Edgerton 51 to 44. Quarterfinals are Tuesday night.

State Girl’s Hockey:

Class A champion is Breck/Groves Academy, Breck defeats Warroad  4 to 1. Dodge County defeats Blake 4 to1 to take Third and Proctor/Hermantown defeats Mankato East 1 to 0 to win Consolation.

Class AA champion for the second year in a row is Hill/Murray. the Pioneers defeats Centennial/Spring Lake park 4 to 3. Holy Family Catholic shuts out Edina 3 to 0 to take third and Farmington edges Benidji 3 to 2 to win consolation.

Section 3A Boy’s Hockey:

Luverne skates past New Ulm 8 to 2 and Mankato West comes from behind to defeat Mankato East 3 to 2. The Cardinals and Scarlets play Wednesday night for a trip to the State Tournament.

Section 1A Boy’s Hockey:

Northfield eliminates Rochestor Lourdes 3 to 1 and Dodge County defeats Waseca in Overtime 4 to 3. Northfield and Dodge County play Wednesday night for a trip to State.

Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus runs away from St Mary’s 120 to 92 and North Central claims the UMAC title with a 102 to 96 win over Bethany Lutheran.

Women’s Basketball:

Gustavus defeats St Mary’s 73 to 68 and Bethany Lutheran claims the UMAC title with a 92 to 65 win over North central.

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus complete the sweep over Hamline with a 5 to 0 win.

Women’s Hockey:

Gustavus earns a split with Hamline, picking up a 4 to 1 win.
