Here are the scores from Wednesday night:

Section 2AAA Girl’s Basketball:

New Ulm advances to the semi-finals with an 87 to 42 over Worthington. The Eagles will play St Peter on Saturday, the Saints defeated Hutchinson 80 to 57. Also advancing was Mankato West with a 57 to 44 win over Mankato East. West will play Marshall, Saturday, 6pm at Gustavus, followed by St Peter and New Ulm.

Section 3A Boy’s Hockey:

Luverne is heading to the State Class A Hockey Tournament, after defeating Mankato West 3 to 2 in two overtimes.

UMAC Men’s Basketball:

Bethany Lutheran picks up a 68 to 64 upset win over top seed North Central. The Vikings will play Northwestern on Saturday, the Eagles defeated Minnesota Morris 87 to 77.

UMAC Women’s Basketball:

Number one Wisconsin/Superior needed overtime to get past Martin Luther 80 to 75. the Yellowjackets will host Northwestern on Saturday, after the Eagles defeated Bethany Lutheran 79 to 66.
