Boy’s Basketball:

2A play in games-GHECML/Truman defeats Cedar Mountain  72 to 62, BOLD wins big over Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons 81 to 49, NRHEG defeats BLHS 83 to 41, USC edges Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 89 to 86 and Martin County West needed two overtimes to defeat Cathedral 87 to 84.

3AA-Montevideo was a 72 to 43 winner over Redwood Valley, Luverne defeats St James 79 to 67, Jackson County Central defeats Pipestone 62 to 48 and Fairmont moves to the next round with a 68 to 65 win over Windom. In the north half-Morris Area wins big over ACGC 89 to 29, New London/Spicer picks up a 60 to 55 win over Paynesville Area, Litchfield defeats Eden Valley/Watkins 74 to 57 and Minnewaska Area was a 61 to 54 winner over Kerkhoven/Murdock/Sunberg.

A couple of regular season finals-New Ulm defeats Kasson/Mantorville 92 to 72 and St Peter was a 69 to 49 winner over Zimmerman.

Section Girl’s Basketball:

3A-Central Minnesota Christian moves to the finals with a 75 to 40 win over MaCCray and Hills/Beaver Creek will be the opponent, the Patriots defat Murray County Central 48 to 40.
