College Football:

Gustavus picks up their first win of the season, sophmore QB Dylan Blount throws for 333 yards and four touchdowns, two to wide out Kaden Kleinschmidt and the Gustie defense stepped up in the second half intercepting three passes to pick up a 35 to 21 win over St Olaf. Gustavus will host St Scholastica on Saturday. Crown College picks up a road win over Martin Luther 17 to 7.

Volleyball:

Apple Valley Invt- St Peter goes 1 and 1, with a loss to Lewis/Altura 2 to 0 and a win over Mpls Southwest 2 to 1. Tracy/Milroy/Balaton goes 1 and 1, with a win over Winona 2 to 0 and a loss to Albert Lea 2 to 1.

Lakeville North tourney-Marshall goes 2 and 1, with 2 to 0 wins over Prior Lake and East Ridge and a loss to Eagan 2 to 0. Jackson County Central goes 1and 1, with a loss to New Prague 2 to 0 and a win over Eden Prairie 2 to 1.

Section 2A Soccer  (Semi-finals)

Boys:

Tri City United defeats Albert Lea 4 to 2 and St Peter was a 3 to 1 winner over SW Mn Christian.

Girls:

Cannon Falls shuts out Stewartville 6 to nil and Albert Lea picks up a 1 to 0 win over Fairmont.
