Girl’s basketball:

Fairmont edges NRHEG 63 to 62, Sleepy Eye picks up a 57 to 45 win over Redwood Valley, Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton picks up a 55 to 27 road win over Cathedral, BLHS defeats Renville County West 62 to 57, LCWM was an 80 to 65 winner over Jackson County Central, St Clair defeats Tri City United 79 to 53, BOLD gets a big win over Yellow Medicine East 80 to 38. USC edges Nicollet 64 to 63 and Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons defeats Loyola 60 to 52. The rest of the local schedule was postponed.

Boy’s Hockey:

Waseca defeats New Ulm 6 to 5 in overtime, Minnesota River sneaks past Hopkins 6 to 5 and Luverne throttles Worthington 18 to 3.

Girl’s Hockey:

New Ulm was a big winner over South Central 12 to 1 and Luverne shuts out Worthington 7 to 0.

Men’s Basketball:

Bethany Lutheran picks up a 79 to 77 winner over Carelton.

Women’s Basketball:

Gustavus win jump out to a 13 to 2 lead early int he first quater and never look back as the Gusties defeat Bethany Lutheran 83 to 51. Martin Luther picks up a nice win over St Olaf 59 to 40.

Women’s Hockey:

Lily Mortenson scores the game winner in overtime, as Gustavus defeats UW/Eau Claire 1 to 0.
