Boy’s Basketball:

The crosstown matchup heard on KNUJ, MVL had three in double figures, led by Pierson Brau’s 15 points and defeated the Cathedral Greyhounds 67 to 43, Watertown/Mayer defeats Sibley East 73 to 58, Sauk Centre gets a big win over BOLD 66 to 34, Nicollet edges Loyola 65 to 64, Madelia defeats GHECML/Truman 97 to 62, Cleveland defeats Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons 79 to 40, Belle Plaine gets a non league win over Glencoe/Silver Lake 98 to 72 and New London/Spicer was a 73 to 72 winner over Redwood Valley.

Girl’s Basketball:

Sleepy Eye defeats GHECML/Truman 68 to 59, St Mary’s was down by two at the half and the battles to a 52 to 49 win over Mayer Lutheran, LQPV defeats Wabasso 54 to 51, Martin County West was a 64 to 51 winner over MVL, Belgrade/Brooten/Elrosa defeats BOLD 87 to 81, Nicollet picks up a 67 to 47 win over Renville County West, Hopkins headed to Marshall to defeat the Tigers 80 to 57, in the Red Rock-SW Minnesota Christian defeats Reed Rock Central 76 to 50 and Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey was a 57 to 40 winner over Westbrook/Walnut Grove.

Wrestling:

New Ulm has six first period pins enroute to a 46 to 14 win over Scott West.

Boy’s Hockey:

Minnesota River shuts out Redwood Valley 11 to 0 and Fairmont was a 3 to 2 winner over Windom.

Girl’s Hockey:
