2A-Advancing to round two action, GFW with a 61 to 48 win over USC, Nicollet eliminates BLHS 81 to 35, Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeats MLGHEC/Truman 76 to 53 and Martin County West advances with a 69 to 63 win over Alden/Conger/Glenville/Emmons.

3AA-openning round scores, Montevideo defeats New London/Spicer 70 to 29, Minnewaska was a 61 to 27 winner over Litchfield, Morris Area was an 83 to 55 winner over Eden Valley/Watkins, Paynesville Area defeats KMS 81 to 73, Fairmont was an 82 to 62 winner over Windom, Luverne knocks St James out of the tournament 91 to 72 and Redwood Valley was a 65 to 45 winner over Pipestone.

Section Girl’s Basketball::

3A Semi-final action, MaCCray advances to the finals with a 49 to 41 win over Central Minnesota Christian. The other finalist, Hills/Beaver Creek, HBC defeats Adrian/Ellsworth 66 to 43. Championship is next Thursday.
