Section Basketball From 3/5

Section 2AAA boy’s and girl’s basketball results from Wednesday.

The Section 2AA girl’s champion is the Marshall Tigers. The Tigers pulled away in the second half to defeat New Ulm 82 to 69. The Tigers are now 27 and 1 and play in the Triple A State Tournament next week. New Ulm finishes the year 21 and 8.

2AA Boy’s finals:

Mankato West raced out to a 31 to 10 lead in route to a 79 to 54 victory. West will play Mankata East on Saturday. Marshall defeats Worthington 77 to 60 and St Peter eliminates  Hutchinson 100 to 70. The Saints play Marshall on Saturday.
