Section BB Results From 3/6

Busy night on the Section basketball courts last night, here are the results:

Section Boy’s Basketball:

2A-Springfield was a 74 to 53 winner over ACGC, Madelia runs away from St Mary’s 83 to 46, BOLD pulled away from Sleepy Eye to pick up a 79 to 51 win and Cedar Mountain has a hard fought 66 to 50 win over Lester Prairie. Winners will play Monday night at Gustavus.

3A-Semi-finals re-scheduled from Tuesday, Dawson/Boyd defeats Wabasso 100 to 53 and Central Minnesota Christian was a 76 to 37 winner over Renville County West. Winners play at 12:30pm, Saturday. Hills/Beaver Creek was an 80 to 62 winner over Southwest Minnesota Christian and Murray County Central defeats Edgerton 63 to 53. Winners play st 2:30pm, Saturday.

2AA-Advancing to the semi-finals will be Waseca with a 77 to 52 win over Central, Janesville/Waldorf/Pemberton eliminates Lesueur/Henderson 68 to 53, Glencoe/Silver Lake was a 77 to 71 winner over Blue Earth and Belle Plaine defeats LCWM 63 to 49. Semi-finals will be played Monday night at Minnesota State.

3AA-Jackson County Central was a 66 to 50 winner over Fairmont, Luverne defeats Redwood Valley 90 to 79. the winners join Montevideo and Morris Area in the semi’s Saturday night at Southwest Minnesota State.

Section Girl’s Basketball:

The 3A Champion will be MaCCray, the Wolverines defeated Hills/Beaver Creek 54 to 44 to advance to State competition next week.

The Section 3AA Champion will be Minnewaska Area. the Lakers defeat Fairmont 53 to 38, to advance to State competition next week.
